Cecil i had recieved an email address earlier form Pan'tum.now my question is whether i can send a money order to Tricanbooks, for i,m living in the Netherlands Antillies,it doesn,t matter whether i do recieve the book or not,i would just like to do my part,any further advice or explanation on how to send my subscription would be much appreciated, nuf respect.

@ Claude: NO ONE chased me away, and Cecil is one of the more virtuous people on WST. If you assume this is about ANY one person, then you fail to understand the importance of us (collectively) - the pan fraternity - developing our own pedagogy. It is the overall attitudes, that disappoints me, and the fact that, in 2012, we still do not understand our own collective power, in claiming our liberation, as panmen and panwomen. I NEVER expected support from this WST membership, nor from the pan fraternity, much less this nepotistic administration, and certainly, I expected that George "Sonny" Godard, would not have been honored. Again, they crucified Jessus Christ, sold Marcus Garvey for rice, and turned their backs on Paul Bogle. That is the dilemma of EVERY "sage" in human history. That proverbial cross, ALL "chosen ones" have to bear, and not because EVERYONE laughed and mocked them, did it stop them from their purpose. REMEMBER, according to the Bible, they also laughed at Noah, and failed to follow Lot, away from the twin cities of Sodom and Gommorah. (Not that I am a big Bible proponent; I am not.) I am totally confident, that, one day, you all will come to realize that EVERY effort by the "Goddard legacy", is done with LOVE for our brothers and sisters in the pan world, regardless of race, class, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or gender. My ONLY hope for my brothers and sisters, is for liberation, and to that end, you ALL will ALWAYS have my enduring support. In life, sometimes, you have to allow those you love to get "burned to learn", and if that takes another 50 years to happen, then so be it. The "steelband movement", is much, much greater, than ANY individual member, and I am but a part of the whole. So, with that said, I am thankful to WST and its membership, for giving me the opportunity, to communicate with my peers, and I have NO animosity toward any of you. I sincerely mean that, and I wish you ALL the best in your professional and private lives.Obviously, the majority have chosen a different route than I presented, and, I diplomatically submit to the wishes of our pan fraternity. I simply encourage you all to become more critical thinkers, and deject the stigma of illiteracy and ignorance. Dr. Lance and Cecil, I honor you both, and I will support the Retirement Fund, by purchasing from Trican Books. Brenda, you are such a courageous poerson, and I hope you will ALWAYS be a part of our pan family. To my international brothers and sisters, I honor your embracing our culture, even when many of our nationals, choose to shun us.
