Ferrum Helveticum: Forward Home -- arr. Andy Narell

PANCH Andy Narell Project 2013 - Live at Winterthur Switzerland Ferrum Helveticum led by Claudio Pini. This large steel orchestra hushes even the harshest critics of steelband music. The orchestra plays Latin and Calypso, all seasoned with a pinch of Jazz and arranged in Bigband style. Hefty unisonos, rhythmical bass lines and virtuoso solos let the audience forget that they are listening to a steelband. This orchestra is a far cry from your palm beach cliché and is on its way to make itself a name outside the steelband scene as well. www.ferrumhelveticum.ch and www.pinimusic.ch. PANCH Andy Narell Project 2013 presents the concert of the swiss steel orchestras Extempo from Winterthur and ferrum helveticum from Berne. Both bands invited guest players and participated in a workshop with Andy Narell where they learnt each a piece of music arranged by Andy.
