  • And what about, The Pouchet Brothers?

  • what about Kenrick and Harold Headlyy these two is not added in

  • This was obviously intended to spark a conversation not only on the criteria for selecting Legends, how was the contribution assessed and the value of this classification. I will follow the discussion to see where the discussion leads. My only addition would be all TASPO participants.

  • Let us not forget a Legend is someone who leaves behind an Unforgettable impression on others . There are all sorts of in the stellband movement .

  •  cordel barbour an pongie, a legend,

  •  kelvin hart, a legen,

  • Pat Bishop is too new to be a legend?

    Brenda H.

  • You have to be crazy to not include Bobby Mohammed.  By the way Alan Gervais established his genius by pairing with Bobby--the perfect combination of tuner and arranger.  There has never been a pairing like that.

  • Robert, Trini Legends!

  • I have to assume that this list is far from complete , because the three names already mentioned should be on any list of significant pan people.

And on the subject of legends , there is an individual who was a ping pong (tenor pan ) champion , pan pioneer.

A legend who influenced another (forgotten ) legend  , Lennox Bobby Mohammed to play the pan.

This individual was also a guitarist who went to Jamaica and is acknowledged as one of the creators of reggae / rock steady.

By any measure he should be considered a legend.

His name is Nearlin ( Lynn ) Taitt.

And BTW , How about Earl Rodney ?
