With “Roaming,” Exodus not only took first place honors at this prestigious competition (Trinidad & Tobago's 2008 ‘Pan Is Beautiful XI’,) but also captured ‘Best Tune of Choice’ accolades.

Background: For the Pan Is Beautiful XI festival, Exodus thought of doing something different, because most of the big classical pieces were already beautifully rendered on the steelpan instrument, and the festival judges knew all of those ‘by heart.’ Pelham Goddard had composed a song for the local government of Trinidad and Tobago called ‘Roaming’ - the concept being that the music will take you through all of the communities of Trinidad & Tobago, with different rhythms. So for the festival Goddard decided to go worldwide with the same concept; he started in Europe, and moved on, ‘roaming’ through Africa, China, India, America, Jamaica, ending back in Trinidad and Tobago. Hence the name of the song - “ROAMING.” The audio you are listening to is the actual performance of “Roaming” by Pan Is Beautiful XI champions Exodus Steel Orchestra from Trinidad and Tobago.
