Independence Middle School’s Steel Pan Ensemble has scheduled several performances next week.
Below is the performance schedule with the emphasis on community outreach/exposure occurring May 28 at Crossroads Mall.
The group’s spring concert will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at school, and it will be in concert at 6 p.m. Tuesday with Park Middle School at Park.
The ensemble will perform at the May 27 Friday in the Park at Jim Word Memorial Park in Uptown Beckley, beginning at 12:15 p.m.
The musicians will also perform from 2 to 4 p.m. May 28 at Crossroads Mall between the Dick’s Sporting Goods and Belk entrances.
