An Opportunity Missed - Junior Panorama 2011

Global - ....One event in particular if I was in Trinidad, that I would be sure to attend, would have been the Junior Panorama Finals event.

....We had a great opportunity on February 27, 2011 to shine the light on the National Junior Panorama, an event which has demonstrated amazing skills and creativity by the young players and upcoming arrangers.

....Instead my spirit was very saddened to see very little or no news in the local papers on line, and therefore on the internet as well. One could not hear or see anything on line as well. It is not that I am saddened because I could not hear or see anything as an avid pan enthusiast.

  • Truthfully, I don't pay much attention to school Panorama reason being it's not in my face... your right why is there no coverage for this event as important as it is... OUR YOUTH!!! and their constructive interest to take part in their culture. The 1st and only school Panorama I ever attended was in 1989 because while I was visiting T&T a friend took me to lime as school Panorama that year fell on my birthday I was 15 and I thought it was great because there were so many young people @ or around my age with the same fascinating interest... "PAN"!! There was nothing like that back in the states..... I noticed there were video cameras in some of the pictures I saw this year, so maybe there is a video maybe audio recording of the event? Pan Trinbago needs to WAKE UP/ STEP UP... I for one would pay for such a product.
