Glenroy, I am a critic, and I said he is a "genius". What is your point? That "geniuses" are off-limits to honest criticism? FYI - Bill Vlinton is a "genius", but I still criticize him for his knuckle-head public statement, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman...Miss Lewinski." lol. You guys need to get over it, and admit that the title and the footage don't match. At least present a more flattering performance, one that gives the title of "GREATEST" credit. Again, I love and admire Boogsie, but I don't feel the need to believe he can do NO wrong, which he has proven, in pan and life, that he can (do wrong). Some of you make me feel that if Boogsie was to No. 2 in a pan, and , and make it go "Bloop", you would call it "a masterpiece" (Opus No. 2) Seriously though, what is so dishonoring in saying that, though Boogsie may be the "greatest" Panorama arranger, when it comes to jazz improvisation, he is not? So, Boogsie is a man like you and I, blessed with his talents, and cursed with his "demons", just like the rest of us. Please don't expect me to bow and worship him, or ANY other man. Jesus included. Listening once again today to another masterpiece from Boogsie and Phase II.
A Hundred years from now, after we're all dead and gone, they will still be listening to Boogsie's music.
