The Annual Emancipation Steelband Street Parade will be held again this year. This is the 15th edition of this highly successful and well organised event which ranks second on the Annual Pan Calendar to only Panorama. 30 bands including Panorama champions in all categories have committed to attend. The theme this year is "PEACE" and all bands and patrons are asked to wear white and play music for the occasion which is our statement of the message to be sent throughout the communities of Laventille and environs that "WE WANT PEACE, STOP THE VIOLENCE" Seating will be available for an excellent view of the show at the secured compound of the Panland Factory at a price of $100.00.
