- Supernovas Steel Orchestra from Lopinot, Trinidad was formed in 2010. The band went on to compete in the Small Steel Orchestra category with Amrit Samaroo as leader and arranger, and won their first championship in that category in 2014.
- In 2016, the band moved directly to the large band category, and came in second in the national Panorama.

- Vanessa Headley - one of the very few female arrangers in Trinidad & Tobago's national Panorama arena - is named in 2019, as arranger for not only her own orchestra, Golden Hands (small category), but three overall (Trinidad Valley Harps (medium category) and La Brea Nightingales, large category) - for the 2020 Panorama season. A historic achievement for Women in Pan.
