Angostura pays homage to Pan

Angostura is paying homage to the national Instrument and elements of Panorama during the Carnival Season with their limited edition White Oak Panorama 2016 sleeves.

“We felt that the country’s most popular rum should depict the excitement of Panorama and our affiliation to several Steel orchestras over the years, so we chose to produce these limited edition bottles for Panorama lovers to collect. Cheers to Carnival and Panorama!” said Douglas Henderson, executive manager regional sales and marketing.

In a release, Angostura said each bottle wrap represents something different; the Tenor Pan, Bass pan, Flag woman, Engine room, the North Stand and the Drag.

There will be a digital competition (angostura.mobi) where, consumers will use the unique code on each bottle to enter for a chance to win drinks inclusive packages to the north stand for the finals of Panorama.

The specially wrapped White Oak bottles are available in all supermarkets, at Solera on Gray Street Woodbrook and in duty free at Piarco airport.

From "RUMDAY" (formerly FRIDAY) to "RUM STREET." Would it surprise you if ANGOSTURA brands Port of Spain as being RUM CITY and T&T as being RUM COUNTRY?

This should increase Angostura’s sales. Does the pan fraternity get a cut in the profits? Did they get Pan Trinbago’s permission?
