Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - The late Pat Bishop, musical director of the Lydian Singers, will be remembered this weekend, as Republic Bank Exodus pays tribute to her at this year’s Steelband Music Festival, to be held at the Grand Stand, Queen’s Park Savannah.
Before Bishop’s death, she had requested musical arranger, Pelham Goddard, to do a compilation of Maestro’s music for the festival, which at the time was scheduled to take place in 2011.
At the festival, bands will be required to play two selections: a Test Piece of Black Stalin’s “Mr Panmaker” and a tune of choice.

Missed the Maestro collage by Exodus, but took in the rest, and all were mostly excellent. Courts Specialists warmed my heart, as well, Codrington family and Renegades. I look fwd to finals on Nov 16. The judges have a tough one!
Excellent! I will hear it tonight!
