Thank you for the results.
To my knowledge the final of the small conventional steelbands will be held together with the final of the single pan steelbands on FRIDAY FEBRUARY 12TH. Thank you for telling me which date is correct.

Matthias you are correct. The small band finals will take place at the South Quay Stands, Port of Spain, on Friday 12 February 2010.

Much thanks
My rhanks go back to you for your extraordinary and informative work.
I listened to the Panorama Semifinal via the net. I am not an Exodus fan, I was very surprised that they did not make it to the finals. To me they sounded much better than Renegades, Invaders and Redemption song. The judges were tone deaf to leave them out of the ten 10 bands for the finals, maybe its their karma from throughout the years when they did not deserve the placings to got then. The bands all gave a good account of themselves, with an exceptional performance by Phase 2, who looks like they would take this year's title. Special mention to Skiffle Bunch.
You're obviously an airhead with no musical knowledge whatsoever. You should go back and take a second listen.
To Whom It May Concern
Let's see, one guy shares his opinion in what appears to be a very balanced manner. I may not agree with his point of view, but he was essentially non-confrontational. Another guy responds by calling him "an airhead with no musical knowledge whatsoever". My question is, who is REALLY the "AIRHEAD"?? Come on, people, we seriously need to shake off this new, unnecessarily aggressive and disrespectful way we have recently learnt to deal with each other, with the knid courtesy of some of our radio talk-show hosts. As far as the pan is concerned, I too am at an utter loss as to how Exodus could have been excluded . . . GIVEN THEIR PERFORMANCE. I commiserate with my Exodus brethren. Better luck (or JUDGING) next time!
I was in the Savannah for Exodus live performance. They had a big song but I was not impressed with the performance, it could be that my ears deceived me but I think that the performance was not their best. I am a Boogsie fan but I was not "wowed" by the band's performance I would have given Silver Stars the nod based on their performance and interpretation of their piece. Renegades should not have made it, instead Tropical Angels Harps should have been in the top 10. I must commend Skiffle Bunch on a sterling performance well done. Harmonites was also quite impressive. I am not totally satisfied with the results but I will accept the judges decision as final.
Just my point of view I could never see you calling yourself a Boogsie fan and not be impressed by Phase Two's performance not being bias or anything but If pan players and fans of other Steelbands found the performance quit deserving of holding top standings something has to be wrong with your listening. If the band sounded poor then it would have been better for you to make such an irresponsible comment. Phase Two forever from a true fan and player.
here here
Okay Corey I was expressing my opinion as you did yours. As a player Corey I can understand your patriotism, but you need to be unbiased in your analysis. From a musical point of view I expressed my opinion but then I guess that does not count. I seldom take people's opinion especially where music is concerned I need to hear it myself. But all is cool bro I was simply expressing my opinion as I think this is a forum to do such. I did not say that the performance was poor I said I would have given silver stars the nod and also that I was not wowed as I usually am. I am a Boogsie fan not a fanatic, there is a clear demarcation between the two. I am sorry if I offended you, it was not meant to offend .

you are right thats your opinion
