I was a panman many years ago. Hung up my sticks (bass) in 1984 but my interest in pan is still strong. Won National Panorama with Maritime Life Hatters in 1975. I was elected Assistant Secretary when the pan movement was known as the Steelband Improvement Committee and rubbed shoulders with Roy Augustus, Vere Greer , Peter Aleong, and James Strong.
