I have been around pan for most of my life. The first President of the Steelband Association was my uncle, the late George Goddard. One of my sisters was a founding member of the now defunct Pandemonium Steelband and went on to play with AMOCO Renegades as the first female nine bass player; my brother has been totally involved in pan from playing to writing etc.
