I am a 51 year old Female and has grown up in the area of South Trinidad surrounded by 5 steel bands. I however tried my hands at playing the steel pan with the Fonclaire Steel orchestra somewhere back in the 1980's. How ever I attend a few steel band shows at carnival time but have gotten involve with another aspect of the culture (Mas and Mas judging). Looking forward to the 2011 panorama.
