Audrey Holden is a versatile percussionist and Pan enthusiast, who currently serves as the Assistant Director for The Rhythm Project in Norfolk, VA. With a love of all things music, performance and entertainment, Audrey seeks to continually develop, create, and share her musical artistry with the world.
Audrey earned her Batchelor's degree in Music Education at Texas Christian University. Born and raised in Austin, TX, her passion for music started at a young age when her father got her a toy guitar for christmas. She played euphonium in the 6th grade, and she was unsatisfied with her placement. After making leaps and bounds of effort to play percussion instead, she acquired the dangerous knowledge that dreams can be achieved with enough hard work. She spent most of her summers at Heart O' the Hills--a month long summer camp for girls that fueled her with friendly competition and fostered her love of teaching. In high school, Audrey became fully immersed in the performing world of percussion, playing in chamber settings, steel band, and in a samba group.
