I am a transplanted Trini who will be forever a steelband lover. I grew up with Invaders-Starlift-Phase 2 in my blood and to this day going back to Trinidad - the first thing I have to do is go to the panyard and get my fix of paradise music. I am so sad every Carnival Monday and Tuesday when I don't see the huge steelbands on the road as they used to be reigning as kings of Carnival and I pray for the day that the STEELBANDS will return to be #1 on the road and the road march is once again the song that they play not the deejays who get paid off. I AM A STEELBAND FANATIC FOREVER!!!
