DJ; one day, A WISE PHILOPOSPOR SAID TO THE OTHER, U R A WISE PHILOPOSOR my friend, he replied NO I'M NOT NO MY FRIEND, I JUST SEE THINGS THE WAY THEY R, AND NOT HOW I WANT THEM TO B...
Hello DJ,
I feel your frustration! How could All Stars win the Tune of Choice Category, tie for first in the Calypso Category, and not win the Competition. Desperadoes won theTest Piece Category only, but won the overall competition. I stated the reason why in my book. The same thing happened in 1988. Renegades won Best Choice of Tune and tied with Desperadoes for 2nd in the Calypso Category, but Desperadoes won the overall competition. The key word is aggregate total of points and not how many categories won. Desperadoes won the Test Piece Category by a wider margin than they lost to the other Category winners. In layman terms,
3+2+1=6 but 3+2+4=9

Please advise if you have a copy of my book.
Sincerely,
Love, Peace and Pan
