Born and raised in Trinidad in 1937, Hillary " Baga" Rezende currently resides in St. Croix where he is a builder and tuner of steel pans. Over the years, he has organized numerous youth steel orchestras. He has tuned pans for carnivals in New York, Denmark, St. Thomas, and Trinidad. Baga has brought his band twice to the Ballerup Music Festival in Denmark. Also, he is the president of Soursop Pan Lab, Inc. in St.Croix.
