Mr Jerome, Belgrave Bonapart did not invent the second pan, nor did he ever told anyone that he did, but he and Sterling Bethencourt tuned their own second pans for the TASPO ensemble, the inventor of the second pan was Carlton "sonny" Roach of Sun Valleyians in 1946...
