I am a long time steelband enthusiast and backroom support person. I was PR Officer of Trinidad All Stars from about 1969 to 1991. I am the founder of Multi Media Ltd and am also the producer of two sets of recordings - Classical Jewels 5 and Classical Jewels 6. In the 1950's I was Secretary General of The National Youth Council and assisted Lennox Pierre in some of the steelband related activities of the Youth Council

"PAN PEOPLE": Most 'pan people' are scared, insecure, and are afraid to think out of the box to create a much better and bigger box. Most need a dose of risk-management and business courses. Most are clueless of whom they really are thus are incapable of putting value to themselves, and this is because, in Trinidad & Tobago, there isn't significant value placed on the instrument thus, most still act and think consistent to the garbage can and biscuit tin covers. Since in the 1980s, my family and I placed pan alongside the harp, violin or any other sophisticated musical instrument, hence the reason why so many fail to comprehend my upward/moral stance when aligning self with pan.
