Kwesi Kamani Hypolite has studied under the GTA’s finest steel pan instructors, tuners and builders. He holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from York University: BFA-Music and B. Ed and most recently earned his Specialist in Music accreditation with the Ontario College of Teachers. He has arranged music for some of the Scarborough communities' top steelbands including Panatics Steelband Network, Pan Masters Steel Orchestra, and the Nativity Steel Angels. Mr. Hypolite often uses his talents to teach, arrange, and develop children and youth steel pan programs. As a certified teacher in the Toronto District School Board he has taken teaching pan a step further by teaching children not only how to play the instrument, but how to construct one from raw material. Kwesi Kamani Hypolite is truly a "Complete Pannist”.
