I grew up in Trinidad and now lives in the United States. At present I am teaching English in China and I an sharing the culture of Trinidad and Tobago with my Chinese students. Culture as you know, includes music, food, art and much more. I am very happy to see so many steel drum bands poping up in several areas of the world. Just like there is a world cup in football, I would like to see a world steelband play off with a designated classical piece that has to be played by all bands, and another piece of their choice. I think that would be awesome
