Trini to the bone, although resident for many years in the UK. As a musician, Education Consultant and Inspector, tries to ensure that the only recognised musical instrument created in the 20th century, becomes as popular to musicians of all genres, as, e.g. the violin or the trumpet, especially in schools. Led one of the first school steelbands in the UK in 1972. Concern, though, that T&T is not promoting the steelpan as it should, and ,if this does not improve, T&T will become isolated, as other countries take up that objective. No harm in that, as long as we, as Trinis, are prepared to see the global acceptance of our invention as a positive thing. Jacqueline Sealey
