Residing in Vancouver since 1969. Attended Abbey Scholl at Mt St. Benedict, lived in the Village and of course a founding member of Flamingoes steel band. Presently promoting steelband and soca music in Vancouver.I bring up an artiste, or soca band every summer.(when I can afford it)The first promoter to bring Mighty Sparrow to Vancouver. Others followed. Kalyan open the gates to Vancouver for Trinidad soca and calypso entertainers. I also present shows Chutney artistes and bands. I would love to have a steelband perform here in Vancouver. Any help anyone can give will be appreciated. I am forever trying but so far no luck.
