I am a recent University of Maryland graduate who has been playing the steel pans and African drums for over ten years. I have recently started a group called Urban Sound Entertainment that specializes in steel pans and African drumming but adds a spin to it by including hip hop and spoken word. I have been involved with groups such as the Urban Arts Center and DC Pan Jammers.
