As an Amerindian-Kamit, I Love WE MUSIC. On the other side TRINIDAD has been part of my life, "college", & later a 9/10 years love relation in Paris brought me back to POS, for the creation of the french pastry shop "Jardin des Tuileries". Now back to MATINIK but will never stop loving Steel Pan & Calypso Music and I Love Karnival, I'm also a member of " TANBOU BO KANNAL " a Mouvment Kiltirel from fort de france. We participate in every Karnival & many festival, with the people but Not in the official parades. We stand for the Tradionnal Karnival, just like AKIYO, VOUKOUM, MASKAKLE, AN BOUT AY, KAMODDJAKA from GWADLUP. For example TBK brought MATINIK Tradionnal Bèlè Music into the Karnival, including the dancing, our drums sections are made of skin goat & cow, No synthetik, we are called " Groupes à Peaux " to make the different with the rest. Believe me the sound is Perfect , Much Much Much better. So let the Pan Play. Gebre Medhin. Hotep.
