Hi - I have been involved with Steel Pan for15 years. I joined Homerton College (Cambridge) Pandemonium Steel Band whilst training to be a teacher. I have since introduced a Steel Band to both schools that I have taught in since graduating. I now teach music in a Prep School in Essex, where I have 5 bands ranging from children aged 7 to sixth form, and have recently started a parents band! I mostly arrange all my own music and take the various bands to perform at local events. I am very committed to letting as many children as possible experience Steel Bands whether it be playing in them or listening to them. I am very proud of my bands at school - they work very hard and we all have loads of fun in the process! Thanks for reading!
