About 11 years ago, I developed a love and deep intrest for the steel pan. I then purchased many DVD's and CD's to familarized myself with the vast array of the instrument. I then purchased a soprano pan, then purchased a high-tenor pan, with the help of instructional videos, I learned the notes, I must mention that I come from a musically inclined family filled with vocalists and musicians, so that helped me to learn the pan that much quicker.
