Currently ,I am a welder Supervisor ,residing in Baytowm Tx. I first left Trinidad in 1971 with a small steelband led by Choy Aming of the Penthouse nightclub era. I worked with and for him for three years at the Clay House night club in Bermuda. I played The Cello , Tenor Bass Tenor and drum set .I returned to Trinidad in 1974 and that same year left to work on a cruise Liner ,Song of Norway for three months.I returned back to Trinidad early 1975 and then left again with Chase Manhattan Savoys steel Ochresta for engagements in New York.I stayed in New York for two years , gigging with a few other bands and left in 1977 to reside in Houston Tx. In Houston I was a member of a few bands , steelband and conventional and migrated to Los Angeles California, where I had the opportunity to play gigs with some of our elite Pannists. To name a few, Robert Greenidge, Boogsie Sharpe, Moutha Bee, and Professor and others that are too many to mention.I no longer play , but still is an avid follower and listener of our great culture and the only and greatest musical instrument invented in the 21 st Century. To sum it up, like the Great Robbie Greenidge, said , ": Pan is meh jombee"
