I am a 71 year old pan lover, originally from T&T, who "beat" with steelbands in the 50s before leaving for Canada, where I continued to play for many years. I have an undying interest in everything concerning Pan, and consider the steelband phenomenon to be T&T's undisputed achievement of excellence in the 20th century.
