been a semi-pro musican since 1963 (guitar, bass, mandolin, percussion), am to pan in 1982, learning from Gerald Forsyth in London and setting up a steelband at the school I taught at. Moved to north east England 2 years later and started a steelband there in 1989.
Taught pan in many settings across the region, and have edited newsletter, organised training, and run support network and events for Steelbands North since 2002.
