Name - Derek Jones, known in the Rapso World as ' Benny Jones"
My first intervention in the recording musical industry was in 1980 with the Network Rapso Rhythm Band; led by Brother Resistance who was also one of the founders. The first Rapso Sound recoreded was "Dancing Shoes"
During the period 1994-2008 the Rapso music spread both regionally and international.
As a pannist the musical director of the band for a period of thirty three (33) years, I develop a love and passion for Rapso music.
This gave me the encouragement and drive to make a statement of how i felt about Rapso music.
