I am Isidore York a.k.a Mighty Dow pannist/Calypsonian
I am the son of veteran steel pan player,maker, tuner Chester York
I give steel pan classes from age 7. I am also a calypsonian I won 3 Road march titles and 4 Calypson Crowns.
I am a full time entartainer pan is my love. I perform on a frequent bassis at the local hotels, at weddings, and churches.
I have five Children and all of them play pan. I have 3 brothers and two sisters who plays as well. My dad is presently the only active pan tuner on st. maarten.he entertains and perform as well.
Recently as last year the c.t.o caribbean tourism award has named an award to my fathers name. called the chester york tourism music award. our family a very musical
