Well,

It seems like every time in the past I tried to change my password I got the password dots and nothing of value in the email message.  So they finally let me in today.  And so, for yet another year, I cannot access Carnival Live Stream from Trinidad.  Oh well!

I do have to totally agree with some of the members, the broadcast was not so good, too much buffering, do hope for 2016 it would be better, Also we should be able to view everything at one venue. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing the festivities of the past few days. Your Carnival was a success. Hope you will continue this broadcast in 2016, as it showcases the culture of TT.

I appreciate the opportunity to stream Carnival at the three venues. It's unfortunate that the split between the Savannah and the Socadrome had such low attendance and overall Mas participation.
Whatever caused the division needs to be resolved quickly. I could see some distinct variances between the two venues and the type of mas players found at each.
As a people, we can't afford to discriminate against one another based on class. In the 21st century when people of color are being faced and confronted by racism we can't get caught up in that type of vice.
I'm speaking as an outsider who lives in the states but loves Carnival.
My expressions are based purely upon observation and experience.
Hopefully 2016 will be united and better!

I totally agree with one member. It should have a ppv, channel to view all the carnival events. Especially if you live in the USA. The live stream doesn't always work. Remember we can't always be home for carnival. Thanks.

thanks this is so good everyone cannot come but at least we can have a look at our carnival here and abroad when we stream our families and friends can showcase our carnival all over the world and encourage our culture to spread. we cannot be selfish and keep it tour selves  it would profit us nothing we have to think outside the box some people never saw our carnival and if by chance we have to use the streaming medium to advertise our culture I believe that it will indeed attract more people to come to sweet tnt

Thank God I'm not stuck in the grandstand or north stand looking at this badly choreographed and contrived mini stage shows with absolutely no spontaneity. George Bailey must be turning in his grave. With so few masqueraders it makes listening to music trucks nothing but pure torture.

I wish there was some way we can get a paid preview tv channel here in the states to view all the competitions taking place --this would be wonderful for those of us abroad who c get home for carnival

thanks

This is the most disjointed display I can remember. There are too many competition venues. Socadrome looks like a complete waste of time. It just goes to show the expats who just come to play bra and pantie mas are not the crowd pullers. there is nothing to beat traditional mas. Island People Tribe etc. better get their act together and stop coming up with crap. The only disappointment is that the Wild Indian mas does not seem to have even a tassa band backing them. but looks good anyway.
