Bassist and band-leader/arranger Art DeCoteau was one of the leading music makers in Trinidad for decades. Apart from being a successful dance band leader, he also arranged for and backed up many top calypsonians. Here from his 1978 album "Inaugural", is a sweet up-tempo arrangement of the 1939 Glen Miller hit "Moonlight Serenade".

  • Beautiful! Just hearing the rhythm section too much--but sweet!

  • We used to make such sweet instrumental music!!

  • He was a good friend of mine, we played together with Frankie Francis. I also got some of my early tutoring from him. Was a well learned music arranger.
