  • "Dr. B" is a TRUE CLASS ACT. I would not be today, who I am today, were it not for her wisdom, guidance, support, and uncompromising level of teaching excellence. I am sure ALL her students can say the same, and she has a calm way of approaching things, that can be dangerously deceiving, for those who may think she is "soft". Dr. Dawn Batson is a Trinidad & Tobago heroine, and well deserving of any and all accolades bestowed to her. I highly endorse the music program she leads at Florida Memorial University, and under her guidance and tutorship, you are bound to uncover your true talents. musically and otherwise, and be able to articulate yourself as a true "intellect". Dr. Batson defines scholarship, and serves as a great role-model, not just for young women, but for all women. I am truly blessed, as someone in the pan fraternity, to be able to say: "I was a student of Dr. Dawn Batson."

George D. Goddard, B.A. Music. Florida Memorial University.
