I will be always be greatful to Pan Times for making available the opportunity for reflection on being a member of West Side Symphony who became BWIA Sunjets and made a major contribution through reprsenting Trinidad and Tobago as Cultural Ambassadors during the Ninteen Sixties on our numerous overseas Tours and performances of which Radio City Music Hall was the most significant.
Fond memories of a piece music, I also performed at Radio City Music Hall four time per day for two months with the band during the 1965 tour to NYC. This history is not in the books about the revolution of the Steel pan. Why?
We pan lovers are so fortunate to be able to share these musical treasures via this forum.Personally, I appreciate these sounds even more now than when they were performed.
Now, if anyone can post the uptempo version ot "Elizabethan Serenade" by Silver Stars it will be much appreciated.
