Genesis Pan Groove - performed a Sadé Constantine-arrangement of Jazmine Sullivan’s “Bust Your Windows,” no doubt a crowd favorite. Sadé’s well-orchestrated parts immediately connected and touched attendees, yielding active and engaged listeners. The piece featured a captivating and haunting yet very simple cello part that veteran and respected panist Natasha Isaac was able to brilliantly deliver as a counter melody to rapid movement of the front line. The orchestra melded in with consonant chords and supporting bass line which harmonically sustained the cello and guitar part.
