The ultra talented educator and musician gives us a look into the way Shadow has impacted him... On the passing of Shadow - Khuent says " This is the first time the passing of artist has left me unsettled. I never met him, but "he's spoken to me": a central-American extract in NY. "Music is the atmosphere" and I'm happy to have met his energy in this life.

    Shadow always spoke to the human condition. This tribute by Khuent Rose was elegant, respectful and so honest. The eloquence and mastery here demonstrated that the artiste understood the soul of the man Shadow and not Shadow's shadow. I felt compelled to play this piece over and over again and I could hear the pleas of the Master of the Master's Den. The emotions here are so real...…... I am sure it has stirred The Shadow to applaud wherever his soul may be. Khuent, the Shadow truly did speak to you.
