White Lantern Film presents Me Reach, a period drama commemorating the 50th anniversary of the landing of The Windrush, the ship that brought the first immigrants from the West Indies to Britain. Capturing the essence of Southampton in the 1950's, we see the harshness of a strange new world through the eyes of a young Jamaican country girl. Initially confused by cultural differences and her rejection by the locals, she nevertheless triumphs over adversity and begins a new life.
