  Your leadership skills and discipline will serve you well in your future endeavors, and especially well in the military.
  
  I too served in the military (US Army) during the Vietnam war era, and also did electronics and computers.
  
  The experience has been a very positive one for me and affected my entire life and career.
  
  Besides the last name , we seem to have a lot in common, since I also took a month vacation from the army to beat pan (in Trinidad) for Carnival.
  
  I find your taste in music typical of pan people. We tend to be instinctively attracted to music that can be adapted to pan, and this affects our taste in music.
  
  I'd bet you also like classical music. Pan made me learn to appreciate the classics.
