NIU Philharmonic features Mia Gormandy, one of the Concerto Competition Winners of NIU 2008. Performing Jan Bach's Steelpan Concerto, pannist Mia Gormandy from Trinidad and Tobago is currently studying with Liam Teague and Northern Illinois University.

I love the sound of your tenorpan! It posses a low,full tone that most bore pan seems to bereft of.
