I hope Job and Sat appreciate your compassion for them. If I am political it is attributable to listening to Job on Power 102.1FM and Sat on102.7FM where they both decry pan as the national instrument. If Sat has his way it would be the tassa and for Job like you would have observed, the guitar or anything but the pan. But God bless you for rallying in support of these two acrimonious gentlemen.
Military Tattoo 2012 on display and we turn it into a political piece. Yeah it gives us "great nationalistic pride" but where does Job, Sat and the trolls fit in? BTW Job's an excellent guitarist. Don't know about Sat and de trolls.
Melanophobe Morgan Job is always carping about pan in schools. All over the planet people are incorporating this wonderful musical instrument in their schools and their national events but Job and Sat and their trolls cannot come to terms with the afrocentric genesis of the instrument. Mind you,it stopped there as we gave it to the peoples of the world. As the national instrument, it must take pride of place and be out front in our schools musical repertoires. It should give us great nationalistic pride to see as in the Netherlands Police Orchestra "where pan reach". Best wishes
Pan Trinbago as the world governing body for pan with that international conference next year.
Thanks to when steel Talks to listen and view Cachita being performed without their music sheet,!! by the Nederlands Orkest. I also enjoyed that selection played by THE ORIGINAL TRINIDAD STEEL BAND.Made in England Polydor select # 2489077 0ne of the recordings with Cecil Forde (COYE ) playing the first pan Which Emanuel Jack Riley played monastery garden on.
