  • I love it when the experts get interested. These comments have been long in coming but

    remember that Pat herself would have said I am not the only one who can make comments

    that matter. It may be that she was the only one brave enough to do it, but hat is another matter.

    I certainly agree with the miking . Miking mistakes take place even at Panorama.

  • I was looking forward to this but it is too noisy and harsh. Is it the placement of the microphones; the pounding of the pans, too much heavy handedness. I know the pans produce   sweetness, softness and a unison. That seems to be not present, feels like more of a battle among the instruments to out pound each other even the drums. Not enjoyable. Sad National Symphony. Where is Pat Bishop???

  • This should be a soft mellow tune.    This is too loud.  Come on guys you are the National Symphony.  The drummer should be playing under the music, but apparently he is trying to over power the melody.......Soloists, you need to be sweet, you hitting the pan to hard......the tuner need to do a better job with the low notes on the tenors.  Check out the low notes in the solos.
