Basement Recordings captures Moods Pan Groove performance of "No Wuk for Carnival" as arranged by the great Robert Greenidge. The performance was captured with a special 24-bit digital recorder that Basement Recordings was testing out for Yamaha. As far as we know this was the first multi track digital recordings of a steel orchestras ever.

  • Great!

  • @ Selwyn Roberts -- This is not studio recording.

This was Moods Steel Orchestra full-size in preparation for Panorama, recorded live on a Brooklyn sidewalk. Like all work done by Basement Recordings relative to the Panorama bands, all are captured OUTDOORS, 'live.'

By the way this recording was done in 1994, twenty years ago.

  • This is an excellent studio recording which is not the problem with the steel band instruments.

The problems multiply when the rocording is done out of the studio. Can you arrange a test out of the studio.

    Meanwhile, this is really great.

  • Moods and Mister Greenidge at their best.
