Orpheus proceeds to the Elydian Fields, the domain of the Blessed Spirits. In the Lydians interpretation, the opera is put in the context of traditions of Trinidad and Tobago Carnival, where the shepherds are fancy sailors, and the grove is a panyard (hence the white pan racks which make up the stage decor)The Lydians production of Orpheus and Euridice at Queen's Hall Auditorium, St. Ann's, Trinidad and Tobago.Sunday 25th September 2005Musical Director: Pat BishopAccompanists: Lindy-Ann Bodden-Ritch, Myrtle CumberbatchOrchestra: The Lydians Steel OrchestraDancers: Caribbean School of Dance & Members of the LydiansLighting: Derek GaySound: Victor DonawaSailor Costumes: Winston Black and The Mount Hope ConnectionSailor Consultant: Ralf Dyetteclick to watch complete production http://ow.ly/FjsyM

  • Great singing and acting, beautiful voice, nice back up of the steelband but not his playing of the pan.I can give him 5 stars without the playing of the steelpan, therefore i will give him 4 stars
