The President of Pan Trinbago says they have signed an agreement with the National Carnival Commission, but he makes it clear that this does not mean the NCC has taken control of the pan organisation. Keith Diaz says the meeting came off and a verbal agreement was made on six key factors. He noted after they received the written document from the NCC for their agreement, it was signed. Now Mr. Diaz says the very members who were a part of the whole process are saying they have issues with the arrangement. Mr. Diaz points out that Government is taking a different route with regard to the organisation and its funding. The Pan Trinbago President says those from the organisation who are commenting on social media about being ignorant of what the agreement comprises are not being truthful. He says the role of his organisation remains the same and they will be preparing the budget while collaborating with the NCC. He added that accountability is now the norm and Pan Trinbago will have to get on board with this new trend.
