This is something that is definitely going in my archives, greatly appreciated,it's nice to listen and hear the progression through the years of the change of music and arrangements.

Thanks, fellas--this is a treat. My instinctive reactions? On those I listened to from the 1960s/70s: First, the relatively high quality of instruments and panmanship then. I had forgotten how good these were. Arrangements were less complicated than today, but still very impressive.

What struck me most was how I dived into the music, singing along, misbehaving (yes!), even waving a flag--because we knew the tunes! So easy to remember them, lyrics et al. Today's made-for-pan compositions may be superior music (I can't say for sure--leave that to the experts), but how many pan-fans know them and can sing along?

I shall enjoy this treat over the week, a little each night. Thanks again, WST.

Does anyone have Cavaliers playing Melody Mas?  I would really like to hear it.  Also, I would like to hear Melody singing it.

What I've noticed though is any link with the blue screen has no performances.

Good morning.  Nice try, but not all of the performances are available.  For example, when I try listening to the 1964 performance, nothing appears.  Several other problems with other performances.  Just try listening and you'll see what I'm talking about.  I don't want to list all of the problems.  Thanks for your efforts though.  It's greatly appreciated.  Stephen
