Hi Ian,
As a matter of fact I don't have your book. I presume it is about Steelpan facts and history...How do you get it?

Mr. Ian Franklin, ...Thanks for the historic information, it is very interesting to know the facts that you have stated, This puts my group "Salah's Steelpan Academy" in a very special 'elite club' ...very pleased to join this group and congrats to all the arrangers and groups in this 'elite club' I know some of these arrangers and you really can't expect anything less. Ian just to complete the facts I also have to inform you that we ( "Salah's Steelpan Academy" ) hve not only won the Toronto Panorama but simultaneously we have also won the Montreal Panorama for the smae consecutive four years period 2007-2010

Congratulations to Mr. Wilson and the Steel Orchestra for their victory at the 2010 Canada Panorama.
This is the 7th time that any Panorama had a winning streak this long. For you pan trivia buffs the first time! (1) Pan Jammers with Sonny Arnold Danclair at Trinbago's Traditional from 1981 through 1984. (2) Ebony with Anise "Halfers" Hadeed in England from 1991 through 1999. (3) Despers USA with Denzil "Belt" Botus & Scipio "Sarge" Sergeant at Brooklyn in 1994 through 1998.
(4) Arima All Stars at Trinbago in 1998 through 2001.
(5) Ebony with Halfers and ? in 2005 to 2009.
(6) La Horquetta Pan Groove with Duvone Stewart at Trinbago in 2006 to 2010
(6) Salah and Orchestra 2007 to 2010

*****Salah: Congrats on achieving the "beaver". Another great arrangement. I always try to video the event to look at it at home but I always seem to not have your band.........because I enjoy your arrangements so much, I put my video away and start dancing to your sweet music!!!!!!!!!
One love
